Mother's Day card

Established in 2008 with the objective of preventing and eradicating cervical cancer through screening and vaccination, The Expert Conference for the Eradication of Cervical Cancer is the leading organization in Japan promoting social activities for prevention of cervical cancer. Our organization currently comprises 45 members, including obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians, nurses, midwives, school nurses, and members of awareness-raising organizations on cancer. We are actively engaged in making proposals and providing information to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, local governments, assemblypersons, and media. We also have contributed significantly to the approval of the HPV vaccine in Japan in 2009.

As the main awareness-raising organization on cervical cancer in Japan, we are vigorously carrying out a variety of activities, including seminars for healthcare staffs and the public, and conducting activities for increasing the awareness of students and young women, while strengthening partnership with other organizations.
